Every year at Easter, the Easter bunny leaves footprints throughout our house, all the way from the front door, down the hallway, through the kitchen, and into the living room where the Easter baskets are.
The kids love this and it really helps to make the Easter Bunny real to them.
Here is what I do. I take an 8×10 piece of card stock (don’t use printer paper, it is too thin and bendy and you’ll wind up with a mess) and I draw a set of footprints and cut them out.
Then I space them out about a foot apart throughout the house and sprinkle the cut-out parts with baking soda. Baking soda makes for easy, non-sticky clean up, and bonus points, it is a cheap and a natural deodorizer. The next day, when the festivities are over, sweep up your hard floors and vacuum your rug!
And as I told my son, no, that isn’t snow honey. It’s magical bunny dust.
Happy Easter, everyone!
